Introducing CyberFence: PTG’s AI-Powered Cybersecurity Platform for Orlando Businesses

Why I Built CyberFence

In the spring of 2020, I watched the threat landscape change overnight. In a matter of weeks, hundreds of thousands of employees across Central Florida — accountants, healthcare workers, paralegals, insurance agents — picked up their laptops, went home, and kept working. The world adapted faster than anyone expected. What it did not do was stay secure.

Our team at PTG was fielding three times our normal volume of incident calls inside of two months. Phishing campaigns spiked. Credential theft spiked. Small businesses that had never needed a formal security posture were suddenly operating critical workflows over home cable connections, personal Wi-Fi routers, and devices shared with teenagers doing remote school. The attackers noticed. They had always known that small and mid-size businesses were under-defended compared to enterprise targets. COVID didn’t create that gap — it just blew it wide open.

What frustrated me most was how little of the available security tooling was designed for the businesses I serve. Enterprise VPN products cost $30 or $40 per user per month, require a dedicated IT administrator, and come with a 200-page deployment guide. Consumer VPN apps protect personal browsing but do nothing for business-grade threats like DNS hijacking, malware downloads, phishing domains, or adware payloads. There was a gap between “free VPN app from the App Store” and “six-figure enterprise security contract,” and most Orlando small businesses were falling through it.

That is why I built CyberFence.

What CyberFence Does

CyberFence is an AI-powered cybersecurity platform designed specifically for small and mid-size businesses — and for individuals who want enterprise-grade protection without enterprise-grade complexity. It runs silently in the background on your devices, combining multiple layers of defense into a single lightweight application.

🧠

ML Web Shield

Machine learning models analyze web traffic in real time, blocking malicious sites, drive-by downloads, and command-and-control connections before they execute.

🔒

US-Based VPN

All traffic is encrypted and routed through US-based servers — no offshore data handling. Protects remote workers on public Wi-Fi, coffee shops, hotels, and home networks.

🎣

Phishing Protection

Real-time analysis of URLs and domains detects lookalike phishing pages and credential-harvesting sites, blocking them at the network layer before the page ever loads.

🔗

DNS Filtering

Encrypted DNS resolution blocks requests to known malicious domains, preventing malware callbacks, ransomware check-ins, and botnet communication.

🚫

Adware Blocking

Stops intrusive adware, trackers, and browser-based exploit kits that commonly serve as delivery vectors for more serious malware payloads.

Every one of these layers is active simultaneously. CyberFence is not a VPN with a few extra features bolted on — it is a unified threat prevention system that replaces a stack of separate tools most small businesses can’t afford to assemble or manage on their own.

Three Versions, One Platform

We built CyberFence for everyone from individual consumers to multi-location enterprises. Here is how the three tiers break down:

Free

$0/mo

For individuals and families

  • 1 device
  • DNS filtering
  • Adware blocking
  • Basic phishing protection
  • No credit card required

Enterprise

Contact

For teams, clinics, and multi-location businesses

  • Unlimited devices
  • Centralized admin dashboard
  • All Pro features
  • HIPAA, SEC, NIST & CMMC compliance reporting
  • Dedicated onboarding support
  • Custom pricing

CyberFence Pro at $7.99 per month costs less than most teams spend on streaming subscriptions — and it protects the devices your business runs on. If you are a solo practitioner, a two-person office, or a home-based business professional, Pro is the tier that fits.

Works on Every Device Your Team Uses

CyberFence runs natively on all four major platforms. Install it once and it works in the background — no configuration required, no IT department needed.

🍎 iOS 🤖 Android 🍎 macOS 🧦 Windows

Whether your team is working from iPhones, MacBooks, Windows desktops, or Android tablets in the field, CyberFence provides consistent protection across every device on your network. This is especially important for businesses with mixed device environments — which describes virtually every small business in Orlando.

Built for Regulated Industries in Florida

If your business operates in healthcare, finance, or legal services in Florida, cybersecurity is not just a best practice — it is a compliance requirement. CyberFence Enterprise is built with this reality in mind.

HIPAA SEC NIST CMMC

For Orlando-area medical practices and healthcare organizations, HIPAA compliance requires that electronic protected health information (ePHI) be transmitted and stored securely. CyberFence’s encrypted VPN and DNS filtering directly support those transmission security requirements. For financial advisors, RIAs, and broker-dealers operating under SEC cybersecurity rules, CyberFence helps satisfy the requirement for policies and procedures addressing unauthorized access to customer information. Defense contractors and government suppliers pursuing CMMC certification will find CyberFence’s access control and data protection capabilities align with key Level 1 and Level 2 practices.

I want to be clear: CyberFence is a component of a compliance program, not a substitute for one. Our team at PTG provides full cybersecurity compliance consulting for Orlando-area businesses navigating HIPAA, NIST, and CMMC requirements. But CyberFence is a meaningful step forward for any regulated business that does not yet have device-level encryption and web threat protection in place.

Protecting Orlando’s Most Vulnerable: Senior Resource Alliance Partnership

✨ Community Commitment

PTG has donated 5,000 CyberFence Pro licenses to the Senior Resource Alliance to protect Orlando-area seniors from online scams, phishing attacks, and digital fraud. Older adults are disproportionately targeted by cybercriminals, and we believe that strong digital protection should not require a credit card, a tech-savvy family member, or a monthly subscription. Through this partnership, thousands of Central Florida seniors now have the same AI-powered web shield and phishing protection that businesses pay for every month.

This donation reflects how we think about CyberFence as a product. It is not only a business tool. Digital threats affect everyone who uses a phone or a laptop, and the people least likely to have professional IT support are often the most at risk. We will continue looking for ways to put strong protection in the hands of communities that need it most.

Try CyberFence Today

CyberFence is available now at cyberfenceplatform.com. Try it free — no credit card required to start. Download it on your phone or laptop today and see exactly what is being blocked on your network. Most users are surprised by how much activity CyberFence intercepts in the first 24 hours.

If you are an Orlando-area business owner wondering whether CyberFence Enterprise is the right fit for your team — or if you want to pair it with PTG’s managed IT and cybersecurity services — I invite you to schedule a free consultation. We will walk through your current environment, your compliance requirements, and build a protection plan that fits your size and budget.

The gap in small business cybersecurity that I saw in 2020 is still very real. CyberFence is my answer to it — and I’m proud to make it available to every Orlando business, every Florida family, and every senior in our community who deserves to feel safe online.
