CyberFence Privacy Policy

1. Introduction

Perez Technology Group ("we," "us," or "our") operates CyberFence, a VPN and data breach monitoring application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use CyberFence, how we use it, who we share it with, and how you can control your data.

By using CyberFence, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

2. What We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to operate and improve CyberFence.

Account Data
We collect your email address and a hashed password when you create an account. This is processed through Firebase Authentication (provided by Google). We never store plaintext passwords.

Usage and Analytics Data
We collect app events, feature usage patterns, and crash reports to understand how the app is performing and to fix bugs. This data is collected through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics (provided by Google).

Subscription and Purchase Data
We collect your subscription status, entitlements, and transaction IDs to manage your access to CyberFence features. This is handled through RevenueCat. We do not store raw payment card numbers — payment processing is handled by Apple or Google directly through their respective app stores.

VPN Connection Data
We collect connection timestamps and the VPN server locations you select. This information is used solely to operate the VPN service for you. See Section 3 for a clear statement of what we do not collect.

Breach Monitor Data
When you submit an email address to check for data breaches, that query is processed to return results to you. Email addresses submitted for breach checks are not stored beyond the duration of that query session.

CyberFence uses the following third-party services. We name them explicitly so you know exactly where your data goes.

Firebase / Google
We use Firebase Authentication, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase Crashlytics to handle account login, app performance monitoring, and crash reporting. Data processed through these services is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

RevenueCat
We use RevenueCat to manage in-app subscriptions and purchases, including tracking subscription status and entitlements. Data processed through RevenueCat is subject to RevenueCat's Privacy Policy.

We do not use any other third-party analytics, advertising, or data broker services.

5. How We Use Your Data

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide the service — authenticate your account, connect you to VPN servers, and run breach monitoring queries
• Manage subscriptions — verify your entitlements and process subscription changes
• Improve the app — diagnose crashes, identify bugs, and understand which features are used
• Communicate with you — send transactional messages such as subscription confirmations or important policy updates

We do not send marketing emails without your explicit consent. You can opt out of any non-transactional communications at any time.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

• Named service providers: We share data with Firebase/Google and RevenueCat as described in Section 4, and only to the extent necessary for those services to function.
• Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required to do so by law, court order, or valid legal process. Where permitted, we will notify you before complying.
• Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or a portion of our assets, your data may be transferred to the acquiring entity. We will notify you via in-app notice or email before your data becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not share VPN traffic data, DNS queries, or browsing activity under any circumstances — not with service providers, not with law enforcement absent a valid legal obligation, and not with any other party.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy:

When the applicable retention period ends, data is deleted or anonymized.

8. Your Rights and Data Deletion

You have the following rights regarding your data:

• Access: You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and all associated data.
• Consent revocation: You may revoke consent at any time by deleting the app and submitting a deletion request by email.
• Correction: You may request that inaccurate data be corrected.

EU/EEA Users: Your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) apply, including the rights of access, rectification, erasure, data portability, and objection to processing.

California Users: Your rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) apply, including the right to know what data is collected, the right to deletion, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).

9. Children's Privacy

CyberFence is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected such data, we will delete it promptly. 10. Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest. Access to personal data within our systems is restricted to personnel who require it to perform their job functions.

No system is completely secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your information. If you become aware of a security issue related to CyberFence, please contact us at privacy@cyberfenceplatform.com.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notice or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.

Continued use of CyberFence after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
